About this Course
Hosted by Noria Corporation: Oil Analysis II (OA‑II), delivered by Noria Corporation, builds the skills required to interpret oil analysis data and use it effectively to support maintenance and reliability decisions. Oil analysis programs generate large amounts of data, but often fall short in translating that data into clear actions. This course helps bridge that gap by developing the capability to diagnose lubricant condition, identify contamination and degradation mechanisms, and understand what the data is telling you in a real operating context. The OA‑II curriculum is aligned with the International Council for Machinery Lubrication (ICML) body of knowledge for MLA II certification. Participants learn best practices for sampling, interpreting reports, and connecting lab results with what is happening on the plant floor through case studies and practical exercises. The focus is on improving confidence in decision‑making, reducing misdiagnosis, and ensuring oil analysis becomes a reliable tool for preventing failures and improving equipment performance. The course is delivered in person over three and half days (Tuesday to Thursday, 8:00am – 5:00pm), with a certification exam available on Friday after course revision.
