Mobius Institute Board of Certification (MIBoC) Scheme
Mobius Institute Board of Certification (MIBoC) is ISO/IEC 17024 and ISO 18436-1 accredited and provides globally recognised certification for Vibration Analysis, Infrared Thermography, Ultrasound and Asset Reliability. MIBoC is an impartial and independent entity that is directed by scheme and technical committees to ensure that its certification meets or exceeds the requirements defined by the applicable ISO standards. MIBoC accredited certification is respected around the world; it enables our students to gain the recognition, respect and career opportunities that they deserve.
Membership of committees is open to the participation of individuals and organisations, and further information is available from the Certification Manager of the Mobius Institute Board of Certification. The MIBoC Scheme provides a Mobius Institute Board of Certification standard and associated programme, non-discriminatory and internationally available, for the certification of personnel in the condition monitoring and diagnostics. The programme conforms to the requirements of ISO/IEC 17024:2012 – Conformity assessment — General requirements for bodies operating certification of persons and ISO 18436-1:2012 Condition Monitoring and diagnostics of machines – Requirements for training and certification of personnel – Part 1: Requirements for certifying bodies and the certification process.
