About this Course

This course is being delivered live online with one of Mobius Institute's instructors from 8am - 5pm CT (Central Time) This five day Intermediate Vibration Analysis course provides the knowledge and skills needed to become a confident and competent vibration analyst. You'll learn how to diagnose a wide range of fault conditions, collect the right data using proper analyzer settings, and apply practical tips to validate your diagnoses. The course also covers shaft alignment and balancing to help improve equipment reliability. After completing the training, you’ll be ready to take the ISO 18436-2 Category II exam and earn certification through the internationally respected Mobius Institute Board of Certification (MIBoC), accredited to ISO/IEC 17024—the highest standard in personnel certification. All certification exams must be taken at the nearest Mobius AEC (Mobius Institute Authorized Examination Center) to your location. For candidates located in the United States and Canada: You may take your exam at no additional cost on the final day of any of our public courses; Please check our course schedule on the website. You may take any exam at any of these locations and dates, regardless of the course technology or level being taught on that day. The course and exam do not need to match. A minimum of two weeks notice is required to ensure that your exam materials can be shipped to your preferred location in time.
