Mobius Institute is selected to provide live and distance learning vibration analysis training and certification according to ISO-18436 to University of Tennessee Reliability & Maintenance Center students.
Knoxville, TN – November 5, 2013 – Mobius Institute, the premier provider of vibration analysis and machine reliability training courses and products, today announced its partnership with the University of Tennessee’s Reliability and Maintenance Center (UT-RMC), to provide ISO 18436 Category I-IV vibration analysis training and certification and precision maintenance technology training to UT-RMC students. Mobius Institute will be contributing on-site training courses at UT-RMC, its Distance Learning training, and Mobius Institute Board of Certification ISO/IEC 17024 accredited certification services; providing vibration analyst certification according to ISO 18436-1 and ISO 18436-2.
A key element of Mobius Institute’s training success is not only their deep experience in condition monitoring, precision maintenance, and reliability improvement but its application of its proprietary Crystal Clear™ training methodology that allows complex concepts to be more easily understood. First implemented in 2005, Crystal Clear training provides students with a greater level of understanding by its extensive use of hundreds of highly visual, 3D animations, and advanced Adobe® Flash® technology simulators that engage the student’s mind. This methodology application ensures that students don’t need to depend on memorization of theory, but provides a means to experience it and clearly understand it.
“We are very pleased to have been selected by the University of Tennessee’s Reliability and Maintenance Center,” said Jason Tranter, founder, and managing director, Mobius Institute. “Our experience in predictive technologies and reliability best-practices, and our proven ability in helping students to be more successful, makes Mobius an excellent choice for any academic institution looking to enhance their industrial maintenance training programs.”
