Mobius Institute Announces the 2016 International Machine Vibration Analysis Conference (IMVAC) will be held in Orlando

Published Date: 4/4/2016

Mobius Institute, today announced the 2016 International Machine Vibration Analysis Conference (IMVAC) will be held in Orlando, Florida on October 31 to November 2, 2016 at the B-Resort & Spa at Walt Disney World.

IMVAC is a professional development conference serving vibration analysts, condition monitoring technicians, condition monitoring managers and reliability engineers who want to improve their knowledge about vibration analysis and complimentary technologies. It is a new annual conference that will be held in the in three locations worldwide; in the USA, Europe and the Middle East. IMVAC provides unmatched learning opportunities that range from basic to advanced vibration analysis, having three streams of workshops, presentations and hands-on sessions delivered by vibration analysis experts. It also includes an exposition that features over 20 leading vendors of vibration analysis and complimentary technologies.

IMVAC was developed in response to a growing need for continued development of vibration analysts after their formal classroom training and certification, and to keep analyst up to date with emerging vibration analysis and related condition monitoring technologies. Generally, maintenance and machine condition monitoring conferences offer wide coverage of condition monitoring and reliability improvement topics, and have provided much content that is directly relevant to the vibration analyst. IMVAC narrowly focuses its topics on the needs of the beginner through advanced vibration analysts.

Vibration analysis continues to be the largest and most important segment of the industrial machine condition monitoring and plant reliability market. Properly implemented vibration analysis programs allows industrial plants to identify machine faults and wear months in advance of failure, allowing pre-emptive repairs to be made by plant maintenance personnel. Additionally, vibration analysis is a key component to any plant reliability improvement program, providing insight into a machine’s life cycle and root causes of failure.

“We are asked time and time again, where does a vibration analyst find learning and networking opportunities beyond the classroom?” said Jason Tranter, founder and managing director, Mobius Institute. “Having training centers in 50 countries and great relationships with many experts and leading vendors, bringing IMVAC to industry was a great fit for us”.
